A SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) Card is the “brain” of your phone. It contains your phone number and personal information that lets your phone work on our network. It stores services like VoiceMail, Roaming, and Internet access. You can also save Text Messages or up to 200 phone numbers on your SIM Card. The SIM Card must be inserted into your new mobile, before it will work. The Card identifies you to the network and protects you from fraud. Make note of the eight-digit number on the back of the Sim Card. This is your PUK (Personal Unblocking Key). Keep it in a safe place. You’ll need it to reactivate your phone, if necessary.
